I was due to fly out to Ireland on a flight from Bristol airport for a brief stop before heading off to the USA to stay with my extended family that I hadn’t seen for a few years. As I would be gone for a few weeks it made no sense to waste money on the long stay car park, so my parents dropped me off and left me. All was going well until, disaster, over the tannoy and on the departures’ board, my plane was cancelled. No problem, I thought, I can always book myself on another plane. So I rushed to the desk and enquired as to whether there were any free seats. None. Not a single seat for 3 days! So I was stranded in Bristol with no transport, a few days’ worth of clothes and a bit of money. Thankfully, they were able to sort me out some accommodation. Unfortunately it was 12 miles away from the airport and without a bus taking me directly there. What to do? Without Bristol Airport Car Rental I would not have been able to hire a car for the 3 days. I would have been stranded at the airport without a place to sleep, resorting to the uncomfortable chairs in the departures lounge and having to pay extortionate amounts at the shops in the airport for food. As it turned out, because of the car, I was able to spend those 3 days in comfortable circumstances, although I was glad to finally get on my plane!

If a good night life is something that you enjoy then the clubs in Bristol are well worth a visit. There are a lot of them and it is worth trying quite a few to find out which you think is the best. Another way to find out about them is to read some reviews on the Internet. This will give you a great idea as to what to expect form the club as in the type of music that they have there, what the atmosphere is like and the location. Several of the clubs have won awards such as The Syndicate club won club of the year 2009 and The Green House won bar of the year 2009. This is certainly something worth considering when you are choosing where to visit, especially if you have limited time in Bristol. You should find that the club scene in Bristol is equally as good as the clubs in any other big city.
Of course you will need to leave your hire car behind, unless you do not intend to drink any alcohol. Therefore you will need to take a look at the travel options. There are a lot of taxis in Bristol and this could be the best option unless you are staying just a short walking distance form the club of your choice. You may also find that you could use the buses, but check what time the latest one is before you make your final decision.
