It Will Be Nice to Spend Time With My Parents

While it seemed like it was never going to get here, the end of this university semester is not far away at all. Even though this will just be my second completed semester at university, I am looking forward to a break after my first year of handling the amount of work that is required to do well in university. After this semester is over, I will be heading back home to spend my summer living with my parents in the house I grew up in. Even though you may think that living with your parents again after having so much freedom sounds terrible, it’s not bad at all when you know it’s only temporary. The only thing standing in between me and my time back home is the final examinations that so many people dread.

While I have plenty of friends who are absolutely dreading their final examinations, I have stayed on top of my studies this semester, so I am actually really confident about how I am going to do. To reward myself for my upcoming strong performance on my final examinations, I have already made some summer plans. In conjunction with my buddy, after moving back to Bristol, the two of us will be picking up a Bristol car rental that is reserved in my name. The reason we are getting a Bristol car rental is so we can enjoy taking a road trip for a full week. Although it has been a year since we have seen each other, the two of us have been friends since we were little kids, so I know we are going to have a great road trip together.

Who Else is Tired of Hearing About Swine Flu?

If you have opened a newspaper or turned on your television during the last month, then I don’t have to tell you that the number on topic onevery one’s mind seems to be the swine flu virus. As the news started to spread that the H1N1 flu virus was believed to be responsible for more than one hundred deaths in Mexico, people started to panic about the virus having the same effect around the world. Even though people are still worried about the fact that the H1N1 virus continues to spread, it has not caused the same level of deaths that it did in Mexico anywhere else in the world. I brought this issue up because it is hard for me to figure out why people continue to be extremely worried about swine flu when it is proving to be much less serious than initially believed. In spite of the fact that I think this continued worrying is unjustified, countries throughout the world are continuing to respond in a fairly serious manner.

Regardless of the fact that the swine flu worries continue, I am not going to let them interfere with my summer travel plans. Towards the beginning of this year, I planned a summer trip to Bristol with my friend, and we have been excited about spending a week in Bristol ever since we booked our reservations. After spending time tracking down great deals on my flight, hotel room and Bristol airport car rental, there’s no way I am giving those up and canceling my trip to Bristol. However, because people have a short attention span, I’m guessing that they will have already calmed down by the time my trip actually gets here and I won’t even have to worry about canceling it!
